BALLET fans are in for a treat this autumn as Northern Ballet brings Wuthering Heights to the West Yorkshire Playhouse, Leeds.
Based on Emily Bronte's romantic masterpiece and part of West Yorkshire Playhouse’s Bronte season, Wuthering Heights is choreographed by Northern Ballet’s Artistic Director, David Nixon OBE and set to an original score by celebrated composer, Claude-Michel Schönberg, known for his West End and Broadway hits Les Misérables and Miss Saigon. Wuthering Heights tells the story of Cathy and Heathcliff whose childhood friendship deepens into an overwhelming love but as their lives take different paths, their bond develops into a devastating force as unruly and dangerous as the Yorkshire Moors that surround them. Wuthering Heights will run at West Yorkshire Playhouse from West Yorkshire Playhouse from September 6 to September 10. For tickets, visit northernballet.com/whats-on
