THE pantomime Jack and The Beanstalk will be staged at the Muni in Colne next month.
George Critchley, of PMA Productions Ltd, brings his version of the classic tale to life from January 7 to 22, with a cow, some magic beans, a never-ending beanstalk and a ferocious giant.
Following a successful run as the Fairy in Sleeping Beauty in 2015, Shorelle Hepkin, from CBBC's Wolfblood, will return to Colne to take on the role of the Fairy in this traditional tale.
Joining her will be everyone’s favourite Dame, Keith De' Winter, direct from his role as the alien Goss Toowers in the Star Wars blockbuster The Force Awakens.
Back by popular demand, Darren John Langford goes from Wimp to Villain this year, to play the part of Fleshcreep, the Giant’s sidekick; and Joshua Bowen, who played Jack in the last production of Jack and The Beanstalk at the Muni, returns to the role in 2017.
And, of course, the show would not be the same without George Critchley, who returns for his 21st consecutive season to play the part of Silly Billy, as well as produce and direct this production.
Tickets are available by ringing the box office on 01282 661234.
