FOLK duo Kathryn Roberts and Sean Lakeman will make a stop in Barnoldswick on their autumn tour in support of their new eight track EP entitled Saved For A Rainy Day.
The the husband and wife team, who were voted ‘Best Duo’ at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards in 2013 and 2016, will play a gig tonight at the Barnoldswick Music and Arts Centre.
Kathryn and Sean performed shows in India and Spain in 2016, are now firmly established as one of the folk-scene's busiest and most respected duos.
They said: "Over the last few years there have been several cover songs we have performed live and never got round to recording, along with a couple of our own originals that didn't 'fit' with our previous releases.
"These have often been requested on CD and, subsequently, Saved For A Rainy Day has become a limited edition of rarities."
Doors for their concert open at 7.30pm and the performance starts at 8pm.
