A NEW stage screen at Skipton Town Hall will be used to show two holiday films.
The six metre wide stage screen, which includes a new state of the art projector and sound system, will be utilised for screenings of Elf at 2pm on Saturday, December 16, and National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation at 7pm on Saturday, December 23. Tickets cost £5 or £3 for under 18s.
Also on the Saturday, December 23, Quantum Theatre will give a performance of A Christmas Carol at 2:30pm.
The production has been adapted and directed by Michael Whitmore. Tickets cost £7.50.
Danielle Daglan, programming and venue development manager at Craven District Council, said: “We’re so excited about Christmas at the town hall this year as we will also have the first outing of our new stage screen which will show some family-friendly modern classics in the run-up to Christmas.”
