PENDLE MP Andrew Stephenson is calling for local creators to enter Parliament’s Film the House competition.
This annual competition offers the opportunity to put local filmmakers in direct contact with the movers and shakers of the film industry and to have the best of UK talent take front and centre stage.
Judged initially by local constituency offices, MP’s recommendations are put forward for a further round of judging by industry professionals.
The Film the House competition is a pioneering opportunity to showcase what the UK has to offer, while raising awareness about the importance of Intellectual Property (IP) to creative industries.
Mr Stephenson said: “I am excited to have the chance to engage with local creators and highlight the importance of Intellectual Property.”
The competition launched on May 14 and the closing date for entries will be September 30.
