THE 34th annual Embsay pantomime will this year be Peter and the Pirates.
The show, which runs until Saturday, will take place in Embsay Village Hall and will feature 15 cast members, who have been practising twice a week since September.
Local schoolchildren, as always, play a big part in the production and they will be performing 'pirate and Indian' dances.
This year's performance will also include Snap the Crocodile, who proves to be a handful for cast members.
There will also be a special appearance by local favourite Igor the Crow, who plays the part of Polly the Parrot.
Show times will be 7.15pm tonight and tomorrow, with a Saturday matinee at 2pm and an evening showing at 7pm.
Tickets cost £5 and are available from The Paper Shop, Embsay, or Karen at the Elm Tree, Embsay.
