SKIPTON: Skipton Players will present the play Run for your Wife from Tuesday to Saturday, August 5, at Skipton Little Theatre, on Clifford Street.

The play, written by Ray Cooney, tells the story of John Smith, who seems like an ordinary taxi driver, but he has been keeping a big secret.

He has a loving wife named Mary in a flat in Wimbledon, and he has another loving wife named Barbara who lives in a different flat only four minutes away in Streatham.

When he heroically attempts to save an old woman from two muggers, he gets bashed on the head and receives attention, not just from the hospital, but from the police.

Two different detectives begin asking too many questions and his wives start getting suspicious.
