Sir – We are writing to you to inform you of a wonderful day we had on Christmas Day.
It was the first time we had our Christmas lunch out, and we went to the Three Horse Shoes in Ingleton.
The landlady Sue and landlord Mark with son Robert made us feel welcome when we arrived and the hospitality was fantastic.
The meal was like a homemade Christmas dinner – enough to feed an army, hot and very tasty. We will be returning again in 2014.
The atmosphere and the trimmings were magical.
They certainly should be awarded a gold star for all their efforts. It was certainly a good day for all who attended.
It was brought to my attention that Sue, Mark, and Robert arranged and cooked a meal for the senior members of the community who live in Ingleton free of charge, they too had a wonderful time.
Mark, Sue and Robert are very considerate individuals and always put the community first.
I and my family would like to thank all of them for making our Christmas Day lunch a memorable one, and wish them all a Happy New Year.
Mr and Mrs Lesley Howarth
