The clock was wound back at the Rolls- Royce Club in Barnoldswick on Sunday for Barnoldswick and Earby Bosom Friends' 1940s day.
Members and supporters of the group stepped out in military uniforms and fashions from the 1940s to enjoy a vintage vehicle display, swing jive lessons and a fly past from a Dakota.
Sally Lambert, who chairs the Bosom Friends, said it was a fantastic day.
"Lots of people joined in with the dance workshops and learnt swing jive. The dancing went on into the evening. The sun shone in the afternoon and the fly past was very impressive, with the Dakota flying very low.
"The trustees of Bosom Friends would like to thank everyone who helped organise and gave their time freely to make the day so successful."
The event raised £1,114 for the Bosom Friends, which supports people with cancer.
