Bosses at Earby fabrics firm Wardle Storeys have agreed to restrict the use of Old Lane as access for their new development.
Planning permission was approved for the replacement of their Grove Mill plant last month, but talks between the firm and the council over the use of Old Lane were ongoing.
Helen Garnett, planning officer at Pendle Council, said: “At present the main access to the site is gained from West Craven Business Park.
“However some vehicles, when using satellite navigation, are being sent to the Old Lane access to the site. Negotiations have taken place with the landowner and with Wardle Storeys in respect of access arrangements to and from the existing site and the new industrial building which is the subject of the application.”
No official agreement will be entered into but Wardle Storeys have agreed to ask people to use the West Craven Business Park access.
