Residents are invited to pay their respects to those who lost their lives at war by taking part in Remembrance Day services at Barnoldswick and Earby this Sunday.
In Barnoldswick, people are being asked to assemble in the town square at 3pm where the service of Remembrance will be held followed by a procession to the cenotaph for the wreath laying.
Pendle Council’s wreath will be laid by Pendle mayor, Councillor Asjad Mahmood.
In Earby, the parade will assemble at the New Road Community Centre at 1.45pm before proceeding to the cenotaph in Sough Park for a service of Remembrance at 2.30pm.
After the service the parade will re-form and return to the community centre. The council’s wreath will be laid by Earby councillor Chris Tennant.
