DIY man retires after two decades

John Mason, who ran Ashfield DIY in Settle for the last 21 years, has retired.
Mr Mason, who was behind the counter for the last time on October 31, leaves the business in the hands of Christine Flintcroft, who worked alongside Mr Mason for the last 12 years.
She has taken over the business with her husband Mike.
Mr Mason thanked customers for their loyalty which made the business both enjoyable and successful, he said.
