One of Craven’s newest retail developments, The Courtyard at Settle, will launch its Christmas celebrations this weekend.
There will be two days of festivities, with mince pies and mulled wine from the Brasserie, the start of late night shopping, the switching on of the Christmas lights as well as carols and music from Giggleswick School pupils.
On Saturday from 4pm, 30 pupils from the Giggleswick Junior School choir will sing a variety of Christmas songs for shoppers and on Sunday it will be the turn of Giggleswick Senior School who will perform a selection of Christmas favourites with musical accompaniment.
The school will choose a pupil from the choir to officially switch on the Christmas lights each day.
The Courtyard will be open for late night shopping every Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening until 8pm.
