The trustees of Hellifield Village Institute are holding a photographic competition.
They are invited photographers to submit pictures of life in Hellifield, which will be used to adorn the walls of the newly decorated Yorke Room.
The pictures can depict people, animals, buildings or events in the modern day. The pictures should be A4 size and can be colour or black and white. There will be a category for adults (16 and above) and juniors, with prizes for the winners. Entry is £3 for adults and £2 juniors.
Application forms are available at the Institute, the Post Office and Moorhouse’s Butchers. The deadline is February 4.
