Judges impressed by Earby Christmas window displays

Donna Day at Felicitations, which was runner-up in the Earby Christmas window display competition
The Mayor and Mayoress of Pendle, Coun Asjad Mahmood and his wife Samina Khan, had the difficult task of judging Earby’s Christmas window display competition.
Assisted by two town councillors, they awarded top honours to JJs House-hold Goods in the large window category and Prince and King mortgage and insurance brokers in the small window class.
Results: Large display area - 1 JJs Household Goods, 2 Felicitations (cards and gifts), 3 West Craven Insurance Company.
Smaller display and restricted areas - 1 Prince and King (mortgage and insurance brokers), 2 S&B Fruits, 3 Ergo (hairdressers).
