Partners held its annual gala charity dance and medal presentation at Skipton’s Aireville School – and raised more than £1,000 for the Marie Curie Hospice in Bradford.

Howard Bullock, principal of the dance school which holds classes in Skipton and Ilkley, said: “Every year we choose a charity to support and one of our members unfortunately lost her battle with lung cancer recently and Marie Curie provided valuable help and support to her and her family, so we wanted to support the charity.”

Fundraiser Lucy Burnett said: “It is thanks to the incredible support from local communities that the hospice is able to continue providing invaluable end-of-life care to patients and their families.”
