Festive rhyme The Twelve Days of Christmas has been adopted by the organisers of a woodland trail to help families burn off that Christmas indulgence.

People who take on the challenge in Strid Wood, at Bolton Abbey, are being invited to identify the different verses of the song as they walk the trail from the Cavendish Pavilion to the Strid.

It is running from now until next Sunday, January 6.
