Craven District Council runs free Christmas tree collection
11:00am Wednesday 2nd January 2013 in News
Craven District Council will once again provide a free Christmas tree collection service for households.
Collections will take place from January 28 to February 8 and can be arranged online at cravendc.gov.uk or by ringing the customer services team on 01756 700600 before January 25.
Any requests made after this date will be treated as a bulky collection and a charge will be made.
For those participating in the garden waste collection scheme, Christmas trees can be placed beside the brown bin on scheduled collection days when the collections start again in March. Please ensure your Christmas tree is cut into pieces smaller than four feet (1.2 metres).
Residents can also deliver Christmas trees to the household waste recycling centres at Skibeden (off the A59 Harrogate Road) or Sowarth Field Industrial Estate, Settle.
