Buckden teenager raises funds for Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue Association

Fourteen-year-old Stephanie Roe from Buckden has raised a total of £157 for Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue Association by delivering Christmas cards in and around Buckden, Cray and Hubberholme during December.
Stephanie, a pupil at Upper Wharfedale School, Threshfield, said that due to the generosity of both locals and other donors, she had exceeded her target by a considerable amount. She plans to offer the same service again next Christmas.
