The 2012 Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal raised £4,843 in Addingham and Bolton Abbey.

Organisers have expressed special thanks to local Cubs and Scouts and the RBL Ladies Section, who collected door-to-door.

The branch is continuing to look for new recruits who do not need to be from a service background.
