A free Christmas tree collection service is being offered by Craven District Council.
Residents can contact the council to arrange for trees to be collected from their homes, leave them as part of garden waste or take them to one of the council’s recycling centres.
Collections from homes will be from January 28 until February 8, but will need to be booked in advance.
Residents can also have trees collected as part of garden waste, but will need to have a brown bin and will have to wait until after the collections start again following the winter break in March. Trees can also be taken to household waste recycling centres at Skibeden, Skipton, or Sowarth Field Industrial Estate, Settle.
To arrange a collection, visit cravendc.gov.uk or contact customer services on 01756 700600 before January 25.
