Silsden Sports Club was packed for a concert to raise money for a young footballer from the town.
Several local artists performed to a sell-out crowd during the show in aid of Oliver Simeone.
Oliver suffered a broken leg while playing in a soccer tournament in Spain last summer with Silsden’s under 16s team. He had to undergo several follow-up treatments including trips to specialists in Sheffield and a course of physiotherapy.
Darren Binns, one of the concert organisers, said there were established acts like the Puretones and The Big Bang along with young up-and-coming artists like The Vibe and Sean Kildunne.
He said: “From the opening chords and haunting vocals of opening act CC and the Monkey B through to the all-out power of The Escapades, the crowd was treated to musicians delivering songs in their own special way.”
Mr Binns said that Silsden Sports Club wanted to thank all the bands and helpers for giving up their time.
