A Threshfield man has received a suspended prison sentence for making and possessing indecent images.

Stephen Moorhouse, 58, admitted 30 charges when he appeared before Bradford Crown Court on Tuesday.

They included the making of indecent photographs or pseudo photographs of a child, some at the highest level of severity, and the possession of extreme pornographic images including bestiality. The offences were said to have taken place in Threshfield between May, 2004, and June last year.

Moorhouse, of Badger Gate, was sentenced to 12 months’ imprisonment, suspended for two years, with two years’ supervision. He must also sign the sex offenders’ register for ten years and was disqualified from working with children indefinitely.
