A talented young musician from Sutton took some time out to inspire and entertain children at his old primary school.
Sebastian Santabarbara, lead guitarist in the rock and pop band My Forever, met pupils at Sutton Church of England Primary School on Friday afternoon.
The 22-year-old was accompanied by his fellow band members.
Head teacher Tim Phillips said the school was pleased to welcome back a former pupil whose musical career was proving so successful.
My Forever recently had their new song, The World Won’t Wait, selected as Record of the Week on BBC Radio 1.
During their visit, the musicians showed year three to six children the music video of The World Won’t Wait, fielded questions from pupils, and handed out free T-shirts and badges.
Mr Phillips, who had invited the band, said: “They were all really good guys - very friendly and great fun.”
Seb, lead singer Dave Ingham, bass player Daniel Twohig and drummer Ben Watson first got together early in 2012.
They have completed two national tours, signed a deal with Fierce Management and released two singles.
They were named in the final top 20 acts for MTV’s annual Brand New Unsigned competition.
