Community invited to opening of Addingham Scout hut

Addingham Parish Council is inviting the community to join it for the opening of the new scout hut.
The council created the new home for the scouts after it sold the site of the old hut to make way for Addingham Medical Centre.
The project will provide a new base for scouts and has involved substantial refurbishment of the Stockinger Lane football pavilion.
Members of the council hope that this improvement will encourage new users, in particular junior members.
The scout hut will be officially opened on Saturday at 11am.
