The Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust has been awarded £76,000 from the People’s Postcode Lottery.
David Sharrod, YDMT director, said: “The trust has received more than £300,000 from the players of the People’s Postcode Lottery to date – an amazing sum which is allowing us to deliver more projects than ever before that benefit the natural landscape and communities of the Yorkshire Dales.”
The money has been used to fund the conservation of threatened habitats, the provision of countryside management training programmes for local young people and education and outreach work.
