New owner for Cross Hills Vauxhall dealer Walter C Brigg

Cross Hills Vauxhall dealer Walter C Brigg has a new owner.
Based on the Crossings Business Park, the franchise has been bought by Bristol Street Motors - part of Vertu Motors Plc - and will be the 14th Vauxhall dealership in the group’s growing portfolio.
It will operate under the Bristol Street Motors brand and will continue to offer new Vauxhall cars, quality used cars, servicing and parts.
Robert Forrester, chief executive of Vertu Motors Plc, said: “The former Walter C Brigg dealership has a great reputation for customer service and its colleagues based at the dealership have in-depth industry knowledge.
“We have built a recognised brand in Bristol Street Motors, delivering the best service to customers and operating a successful business built on honesty and trust.
“By acquiring this dealership we are extending our presence in Yorkshire.
The new dealership will be overseen by general manager Andy Marlow, who, until recently, led the group’s dealership in Macclesfield.
