Aireville School in Skipton is due to host its first ever Holocaust Memorial Day on Saturday.
The school hopes hundreds of people will defy the weather at the weekend for the afternoon event which will include contributions from other senior schools in the area.
There will also be a talk by Hebden’s Hanneke Dye, who was born into Nazi occupied Holland, and an interactive tour of the Jerusalem Holocaust Museum.
There will also be world foods, made locally. The event will run from midday to 4pm.
