Skipton Children’s Centre marks National Storytelling Week

Skipton Children’s Centre is running a free family fun day to celebrate the 13th annual National Storytelling Week.
The event will take place at the centre at Ings County Primary School, on Broughton Road, on Saturday from 10am to 1pm and families and children are invited to come along to the event dressed as their favourite book character.
As well as fun activities linked to arts, creativity, books and stories, there will also be a performance by Imaginarium Theatre Company called Once upon a Time.
The performance is interactive and children will be encouraged to get involved.
Although the event is free, families may be asked to make a small donation toward some activities and refreshments. For more information, contact the centre on 01609 798094.
