June Mulligan feeds Spot and Alfie at Neville House residential home in Gargrave
Two miniature spotted ponies have been spreading joy at Neville House residential home in Gargrave.
Alfie, seven, and Spot, five, won the hearts of residents, especially 86-year-old June Mulligan.
The ponies arrived with Susan Dunne, from the Equestrian Centre at St Ives in Bingley, and are part of a service called Pat a Pony.
“The ponies will stand all day for people to make a fuss of them and their small size and laid back temperaments mean that they will happily walk into a lounge full of people or even go up in the lifts to visit people who can’t leave their bedrooms,” she said.
