Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust's £3m funding bid

Ingleborough will be one of the areas to benefit from the funding Ingleborough will be one of the areas to benefit from the funding

The Clapham-based Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust is developing a bid to secure up to £3 million in funding for a landscape, heritage and community programme based around Ingleborough.

Crucial to this is having a strong involvement by local organisations and individuals in identifying and then helping to deliver the projects that will make a difference to the proposed project area of Ribblesdale, Ribblehead, Chapel-le-Dale, Clapdale, Ingleborough and Crummack Dale.

People can find out more about the scheme at an open session at the Friends Meeting House, Kirkgate, Settle, today from 4pm to 6pm.

Anyone with an interest is welcome to attend and give ideas for projects, express views on ideas already submitted and share information.
