The Friends of Bentham Library will celebrate National Library Day on Saturday.
Long Preston writer Diane Allen will give a reading from her book, For the Sake of the Family, which is quickly becoming a best seller.
The event will run between 10am and noon and everyone is welcome to bring along a favourite poem or piece of prose to read during the morning. Refreshments will be served.
