Earby Town Council agrees not to increase precept
9:00am Friday 8th February 2013 in News
Earby Town Council has decided not to increase its precept.
Its part of the council tax bill for 2013-14 will remain the same as the past three years.
The chairman, Coun Chris Tennant, said: “With prudent budgeting and good use of council funds we have been able to hold it at the same level, with no increase.
“I congratulate my fellow councillors for finding outside funding for a lot of last year’s projects.
“I would also like to take this opportunity to say that they are all volunteers and receive no renumeration at all for their efforts. They are all of the same mind, which is to do their best for Earby.”
