Volunteers sought to help improve Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority website

Lovers of the Dales are being invited to help improve the national park authority website.

Volunteers are needed to join a special focus group that will have a big say on the site’s look and content.

Stuart Willis, the authority’s web officer, said: “We are planning to reorganise the site and add lots of images and different ways of displaying items so it’s easier to find information and more enjoyable to look at.

“We also want to make the site more interactive, with lots of opportunities for visitors to feed back about the national park and to provide content for the site, for example by submitting photographs, videos and comments.

“We have reached a point where some fairly major work is necessary to take the website to the next stage and we think it would be a good idea to re-establish the focus group and collect opinions on what we are planning to do.”

Details about the focus group and how to join can be found at yorkshiredales.org.uk/web-focus-group.
