Youngsters at St Stephen’s School, Skipton, have been learning about the Swiss way of life.
The Gargrave Road school has an ongoing link with a teacher training college in the Lake Constance area of Switzerland and has just played host to one of its student teachers, Jemima Seidenberg.
“She gave a presentation about Swiss life, told the story of William Tell and worked with different classes,” said headteacher Peter Thompson.
Jemima, who is one of 11 siblings, stayed with a host family while she was enjoying her insight into the English educational system.
