Strong sales record helps Dacre, Son and Hartley’s Skipton office win company award

Estate agent Dacre, Son and Hartley’s Skipton office scooped a top award at the company’s annual awards ceremony.

It was named Residential Office of the Year in recognition of its excellent market share across both its sales and lettings divisions and its strong sales record.

The office saw off competition from the company’s 19 other offices which are located in North and West Yorkshire.

Patrick McCutcheon, chairman of Dacres Residential, said: “All Dacres’ offices perform to an exceptional standard, so for Skipton branch to win this award is a major coup. The whole of the Aire Valley has enjoyed an active year and this is particularly true in Skipton as well as Bingley and Keighley, both of which gave stiff competition for this award.”

Skipton branch manager Tim Usherwood said: “We have a young and dedicated team who continually strive to achieve the highest levels of customer service and we receive exceptional feedback from both buyers and vendors alike.

“We’re delighted to have our efforts recognised.”

In another success for the Skipton branch, its sales manager Nicola Cocks won the company’s outstanding achievement award after successfully reducing the number of sales that fell through, meaning the Skipton office enjoyed one of the lowest fall-through rates in the organisation.

Mr Usherwood said: “Nicola thoroughly deserves her award because she’s a true professional with exceptional diligence and courtesy –we regularly receive letters and calls from clients praising her work.”
