Children at Christ Church School have been snap happy after taking part in a new photography club.
The school was given a grant from Skipton Extended Learning for All which they used to purchase a digital SLR camera. The school’s PTA also provided an Olympus Pen system to use alongside other digital cameras the school owns.
Headteacher Simone Bennett said: “The photography club was started at the request of the children as we ask them regularly for their ideas for new clubs. This term has included German too.
“Christ Church is really passionate about extending the range of extra-curricular activities to make sure the children learn new skills but also have fun outside of the school day.”
There will also be a children’s photography exhibition by the end of the year.
