Charity ball to be held in memory of Embsay woman Hilary Lovell

Ron Daniels, chairman of the UK Sepsis Trust and active in the Global Sepsis Alliance, will be speaking at a dinner in memory of Embsay’s Hilary Lovell, who died aged 64.

Hilary lost her fight against the condition, which develops when the body suffers a severe response to a simple infection, on Christmas Day 2010.

The Hilary Lovell Memorial Ball, organised by her daughter, Rhian Oliver, is at The Old Swan Hotel, Harrogate, on Saturday, March 2, and money raised will go to UK Sepsis.

A bus to the event is being provided and will pick up in Skipton and Embsay at a price of £10 return.

Ball tickets cost £35 or £300 for a table of ten and include a champagne reception, three course dinner and entertainment. They are available from sepsistrustball.co.uk or email info@sepsistrustball .co.uk.
