A review on traffic policing in Craven is due to be discussed by Craven councillors next week.

Chief superintendent Alison Higgins, director of North Yorkshire’s specialist operations, is due to report to Wednesday’s crime and disorder committee.

The review recently decided that traffic policing was to stay in Skipton and not, as widely feared, be centralised in Harrogate.
