Skipton Rotary Club to reopen charity car park
8:00am Friday 22nd February 2013 in News
Skipton Rotary Club’s charity car park will reopen for business a fortnight earlier than usual this year.
Located in the grounds of Skipton Building Society on The Bailey, it will start welcoming motorists on Saturday from 9.30am and Rotarians are hoping this early opening will increase the amount of money raised to support local good causes.
The daily charge is £2.50 per vehicle and the car park is open on Saturdays and Bank Holidays.
Over the past 19 years Skipton Rotary Club’s charity car park has raised more than £200,000 for local voluntary organisations.
