Silsden Town Band hosts late festive dinner

Christmas came a little late for Silsden Town Band.
Members were so busy with engagements in the run-up to Christmas that they did not have time to have their own Christmas party.
That was solved last week when they had their Christmas dinner at Steeton Hall.
Members and their families enjoyed a meal followed by a music quiz, organised by musical director Andrew Dunn.
The evening finished with an “Oscars” ceremony and award winners were: Musical Director’s Trophy for Player of the Year – Rob Bergman; Chairman’s Trophy for Under 21 Player of the Year – Matthew Loud; Harold Clough Trophy for Long Service – Corrie Sunderland; Committee Award: Supporter of the Year – Kate Corp Player’s Player Trophy for service to the band – Chris Murray and Phil Corp.
