Bentham Primary School pupils enjoy African drumming course

Class four pupils at High Bentham Primary School are taking their cultural studies to new levels with a four week course in African drumming.
The sessions are being run by Iain Hunter, a local music expert and drum teacher.
Class teacher Katherine Shepherd said: “The children have been learning how Africans communicate with rhythm, movement and sound and are realising the importance of listening and working with others. The lovely fabrics and costumes were loaned by local resident Annie Nelligan.”
