Silver Cross unveil the Aston Martin of prams

Broughton-based pram maker Silver Cross has collaborated with luxury car brand Aston Martin to produce the very latest in stylish baby transport.

The limited edition Aston Martin version of the Silver Cross Surf went on sale today (Wednesday) with a price tag of £2,000.

The pram, which features the Aston Martin logo embossed on its “upholstery”, is available only from Harrods and will be limited to just 800 models.

Each pram will come with its own certificate of authenticity and a brushed chrome plaque confirming that each model is a limited edition.

A special Silver Cross air-ride suspension will guarantee the most comfortable of rides in the most bumpy of terrains, while a multi-position leather-trimmed handle will make for comfortable pushing.

Alan Halsall, chairman of Silver Cross, said it was a great collaboration between two iconic British firms.

“I am thrilled that Silver Cross and Aston Martin are working together and have produced this brand new totally exclusive pram which is a great testament to two of the most famous British brands,” he said.
