Cowling parish precept to stay same

Residents from Cowling will see the parish precept remain unchanged for the coming financial year.
The parish council will again ask villagers for £35,000, with the largest expenditure being the clerk’s salary (£8,850), the lengthsman’s salary (£4,000) and recreation ground maintenance (£4,000).
The total budget is £35,550 and the council has taken £550 out of the reserves to keep the precept at its current level.
