Community centre: Wigglesworth Community Centre is backing the charity Mary’s Meals, which encourages children in countries such as Africa to become educated. It is appealing for items such as soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, small towels, shorts/skirts, T-shirts, flip- flops, crayons, pens, pencil sharpeners, erasers, rulers, pencil cases, exercise books and spoons. There will be an open social group meeting on Monday, from 6.30pm to 7.30pm, to talk about future planning. The craft group meets on Monday at 7.30pm and will look at sugar craft.
