Skipton youngster Toby Garbutt spent hours in the bath over the weekend – but ended up getting rather mucky.

Raising money for charity, Toby managed to keep smiling despite sitting in a bath of sticky goo for four hours.

Toby, 12, took on the challenge to raise money for Comic Relief and collected £210.

“He arranged it all on his own,” said his mum, Nicola. “He was supported by local plumber Richard Horton who donated the bath and buns and cakes were offered for a donation.”

The challenge took place at Skipton Town Hall on Saturday. Toby, who was helped by his friends, is a pupil at Aireville School and lives at Lytham Close.
