Hudson appeared at Skipton Magistrates' Court
Adam Hudson appeared before Skipton magistrates on Friday – his 28th birthday – and pleaded guilty to driving with 48 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35.
Hudson, of Regent Drive, Skipton, was ordered to pay £345 in fines and costs and was given a 12-month driving ban.
Caroline Midgley, prosecuting, said he was breath-tested at 3am on February 10 in Princes Drive, Skipton.
John Mewies, for Hudson, said he had driven his car only a short distance from Skipton town centre car park, up Rectory Lane and towards his home when he was stopped.
