Riding arena planned at Addingham farm

Plans to build an indoor riding arena at Farfield Farm, Addingham, have been submitted to Craven District Council.
The planned 48 metre long, 27 metre wide and 4.6 metre high building would be used for both storage and for the riding of horses.
Other planning applications received by the council this week include:
Bentham: garage and garden room extension at Knowe Top, 93 Bentham Road; Burton-in-Lonsdale: replacement of wooden windows with UPVC windows at the front and rear of 5A Manor Close; Clapham: replacement of rotting window frames at Wenning Bank, Clapham Station; Gargrave: work to trees in a conservation area at Endsleigh House, High Street; and replacement of existing lean-to roof at 16 Church Street; Glusburn: two-storey extension at Green Way; Skipton: change of use of cafe to residential, demolition of single-storey rear extension at 31 Park Avenue; and replacement of all windows and new entrance doors at flats 1-3, Sackville Street, Skipton; Sutton-in-Craven: listed building consent for replacement of all windows with hardwood, double-glazed windows at Orchard House, Ellers Road.
