Coffee morning: The next coffee morning in aid of the Fabric Fund for the Parish of St Wilfrid, Burnsall, and St John the Baptist, Appletreewick, will be on Saturday at Skyram Gate, Skyreholme. Richard and Jane Wilberforce invite you to come along between 10am and noon. There will also be a raffle and cake stall. Tickets are £5 on the door.
Christian Aid: Please look out for your Christian Aid Week envelope, which was delivered with your May edition of Burnsall News, and give as generously as you can. You can make your donations go further through the gift aid scheme. Christian Aid collectors are Brenda and Ed Williams for Burnsall, John and Angela Townend for Thorpe, Jack and Wilma Tinker for Hartlington, Fiona Thomson for Skyreholme and Peter Weatherhead for Appletreewick. If yours is not collected, drop it in to your nearest collector or at Katie’s Kiosk.
