A man arrested following an incident in Cononley has appeared in court.
Michael Armstrong, 47, of Aireside, Cononley, has been charged with possession of a firearm and ammunition without a certificate and possessing an imitation firearm in a public place.
He had made an initial appearance before magistrates on May 20, when he was remanded in custody. Armstrong reappeared at Harrogate Court on Tuesday and was remanded back to custody until June 25
